The Union University women’s basketball team plays Gulf South Conference foe and No. 7-seed Valdosta State at home, at 7 p.m., Monday, for the NCAA Division 2 Region title, and a trip to the Elite 8 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Union defeated Embry-Riddle University 74-59 in a Region semifinal game, Saturday.
The Lady Bulldogs, the top seed and tournament host for the third time in four years, improved to 30-3 overall.
