Members of the Jackson Energy Authority board of directors passed 11 resolutions during Thursday’s monthly meeting at the Tennergy Building.
The board passed resolutions –
Electing to capitalize costs of issuance with respect to the Water System Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2017 and the Wastewater System Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2017.
Authorizing a contract renewal with Robert W. Baird & Co., as Jackson Energy Authority’s Pension and Other Post-Employment Benefits funds investment manager, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Authorizing a contract with Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation for expansion of a substation.
Authorizing the purchase of service bodies for truck cab and chassis.
Authorizing a contract for grease trap pumping and hauling on JEA’s Wastewater collection system.
Authorizing a contract to replace and/or repair three raw water wells on JEA’s Water System.
Authorizing a contract for rehab/replacement of 54-inch Riverside Sewer Interceptor on JEA’s Wastewater System.
Approved an agreement with the Jackson Police Department for extra duty police security services at Jackson Energy Authority, including customer care centers.
Authorizing a contract to perform an upgrade to the existing Geographic Information Center.
Authorizing software licensing and support from Dell, Inc.
Authorizing a Cable TV Rate Adjustment effective Jan. 2, 2018.
