Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock and Roll, finds a permanent home near Nutbush City Limits with the grand opening of the Tina Turner Museum at Flagg Grove School The West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center is proud to announce the addition of the museum which is housed inside of the restored Flagg Grove School (the one room school Tina attended during her childhood). Working with Tina and her team, the exhibit will feature multiple costumes, video, audio and personal commentary from Tina herself.

Jackson’s Amphitheater at the West Tennessee Farmers’ Market (AMP) inaugural season continues with the Reverend Jesse and The Holy Smokes. Don’t let the Reverend fool you. Their music consists of a good old fashioned country sound with a Jackson TN rockabilly flare. “It ain’t your teenager’s country music!” states vocalist Josh Smith.
The open air venue encourages guests to bring their picnic basket or visit one of the food concessions. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome at this family friendly event!
