North Library Branch has Ribbon Cutting

(January 14, 2014) Jackson, Tenn.- This afternoon, the Jackson Chamber came out north for the ribbon cutting for the North Branch of the Jackson Madison County Library.

The North Branch of the library has moved from its previous location near Kroger on University and North Highland.

The new location is in the same shopping complex that houses Jason’s Deli, on Stonebridge Boulevard.

Dinah Harris, Director of the Jackson Madison County Library discussed why they moved and what the move accomplishes for the North Branch.

Moving

In the year that Harris has been at the Library, she’s made changes to the Main Library and moved the North Branch.

What’s next?

Next Steps

Harris says that she wants people to remember that the Library System is just that, a system.
