2 Arrested After Bomb Threats in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Hendersonville police have arrested two people accused of making bomb threats to a local bank and a Wal-Mart store.

According to a news release from the department, the first threat was reported on Monday at First Tennessee Bank at about 9:18 a.m. The second threat was made to the Wal-mart later that day at about 5:33 p.m.

Nicholas Tice was arrested on Tuesday and charged with false reporting, forgery and other violations. The 20-year-old was being held at the Sumner County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Marquel Harold also was charged in the threats. The 19-year-old was being held on a $25,000 bond.

A spokesman for the police department said he did not know whether the two suspects had lawyers yet.
