(December 26, 2013) Nashville, Tenn.- Governor Haslam has made an appointment to the Court of Appeals, Western Section.
Brandon O. Gibson from Crockett County was named today to replace Judge David R. Farmer when his term expires on August 31, 2014.
Gibson works in Jackson at the law firm Pentecost & Glenn , PLLC. According to a release, she has focused on “ on governmental entity defense, employment defense, commercial litigation, civil rights litigation, and transactional services.”
In the same release, she said that, ““I want to thank the Governor for this appointment and for the opportunity to move into public service.”
Gibson Continued, “I look forward to serving the people of Tennessee, especially the Western Section.”
Governor Haslam said of his appointment, “Brandon Gibson will be an excellent judge on the Court of Appeals.” He continued, “She has vast experience in private practice, and I know she will serve the citizens of the Western Section well in this role.”
