(October 7, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- Union University will play home to the sixth annual “Remember Me” Commemorative Walk.
The “Remember Me” Commemorative walk allows families in West Tennessee and surrounding areas to remember their loved ones that were lost to homicide.
Those wanting to attend will arrive at the Carl Grant Events Center at 5:45PM for a buffet dinner, an awards presentation, and music.
Tina Fox, director of victim services for the Tennessee Board of Parole, will speak to the attendees.
Families will take a candlelight walk around Miller Tower on the campus and will release white balloons to remember those lost to homicide.
Union social work students, law enforcement, and city leaders will attend the event in support of the families.
