(October 2, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- Seven subdivision plats were up for review and approval at the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission meeting on Wednesday.
All seven plans were approved. Plans submitted included expansions to existing subdivisions and some new construction.
Some of the plans had stipulations that had to be met once the subdivision plans were approved. All seven were approved.
The board also reviewed the design of a new parking lot that was submitted by West Tennessee Healthcare.
The parking lot will take the place of the old transitional care building site. The plan for the parking lot was approved.
The final petition to the board came from Jeff Stevens, owner of the Tattoo Station. The board approved his request to move into 603 Vann Drive Suite G.
The zone the shopping center is located in is SC-1 which only allows for personal services on approval from the board.
The planning department determined their recommendation based on two factors: state licensure and health department approval.
