(September 25, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- Three home office requests were considered at the September Madison County Board of Zoning Appeals meeting.
Before the applications for the home offices were discussed, officers for the board needed to be appointed.
Jeff Vaughn was reappointed as chairman. Bart Walls, though absent, was reappointed as vice-chairman.
Phillip Jones’ application was up first. His home office is for landscaping and curbing business. It’s a residential service, but also has commercial applications.
Elaine Hampton applied for a home office for her painting business. It is interior and exterior house painting.
Mildred Fuller is using her home office for a catering business. The board asked about the health inspector, and she said that once she is a home business, he does not have to come out there.
All three applications were unanimously approved by the three board members.
