Jackson Christian School Athletic Field Expansion Approved

(September 16, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson City Board of Zoning Appeals met Monday and picked up the Jackson Christian School request that was tabled in July.

Jackson Christian School approached the board to allow for an expansion of their athletic fields. The board requested more information and JCS representatives and they provided answers at this meeting.

There were no representatives for the opposition spoke at this meeting. The board voted to accept the resolution.

Reeds Metals requested a special exception for their facility on South Highland.

They want to perform light manufacturing at their facility which is allowed in their zone. They will manufacture in the back and sell retail in the front.

The planning staff recommended approval and the board passed it by voice vote.
