(August 23, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- Dr. David S. Dockery, President of Union University, gave his final convocation address as president of the campus.
Dr. Dockery addressed the students, professors, and others assembled at the annual fall convocation ceremony at the G.M Savage Memorial Chapel.
The theme of his message was “From Faith to Faith: Revisiting the Great Cloud of Witnesses.” It included a brief history of the university from its beginnings to today.
Also during the convocation, John Netland was installed as the new Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. Dockery will transition into a Chancellor position by next summer.
