Jackson Police officers responded to an alarm call at 1463 South Highland Avenue on Wednesday night.
The burglar alarm at Vantreese Pharmacy had activated at about 9:50 PM. When patrol officers arrived, they discovered there had been an actual burglary.
The front door glass had been shattered and the metal security gate on the interior had been damaged. There were some pills stolen, which included scheduled pain medications.
The pharmacy’s in-store surveillance video captured some images of the burglars.
They appear to be male suspects and wore excessive clothing and hoods to disguise their identities.
The pharmacy is conducting a complete inventory to determine exactly what medications were stolen.
