JACKSON Tn, (January 6, 2014) Madison County Sheriff David Woolfork had his first scheduled court appearance on Monday since being indicted by a Madison County Grand Jury on charges of attempted sexual battery and domestic assault.
The charges stem from an incident in Oct of 2013 when police were called to the home of Madison County Sheriff's employee Sharon Sangster.
Monday's appearance was an arraignment on the charges. Woolfork was not required to be present but he was represented by attorney Mark Donahoe.
After the arraignment Donahoe had these comments:

The next court appearance will be on March 3, 2014.
