Kierstyn Ray, a senior setter for the Dyer County High School Lady Choctaws volleyball team, has earned the female ‘Athlete of the Week,’ presented by Jackson State Community College.
Ray had 20 assists/ 5 digs/ 4 kills and an ace in a win over Arlington, and contributed 34 assists and three digs for the Lady Choctaws their win against Obion County.
In competition, Saturday, September 12, she had 17 assists, 8 digs and 1 ace vs. Jackson, Missouri; 28 assists and 8 digs in competition versus Northpoint Christian; 2 aces, 21 assists and 7 digs vs. St. Clair (Missouri) High School, and 25 assists and 8 digs against Red Bud (Illinois) High School.
