We are just two days away from celebrating America250 and folks continue to stop by Talk-N
West Tennessee to get their tickets for what is advertised as the largest fireworks show in the
region. Will you and your family be coming to celebrate with us and the Jackson Rockabillys?

“I usually have it-Fourth of July – at my house with fireworks,” Patrick, a Jackson resident said.
“But I’m gonna take my nieces (to the ballpark).”

On Saturday, July 4, Golden Media Group, Talk-N West Tennessee and the Jackson Rockabillys are partnering to give the people of Jackson a very special America250 celebration.

The public is invited to visit Talk-N West Tennessee – business hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. – 207 W. Lafayette Street.

The show is sure to give lots of people family fun and entertainment – Baseball, Apple Pie, Serra Jackson – and FIREWORKS!!!!!!

Gates will open at 6 p.m., with events starting at 7 p.m., at Rockabillys Stadium.

The Rockabillys have held Fourth of July events for the past four years however, this show will be almost double the length of the previous shows, and that’s one reason the public is latching onto free tickets.

“I know they have fireworks every year, so I just kinda already knew about it,” Jeff, a local Jackson resident said. “And my grandson wants to go.”

The event will have a special ‘1776 theme’ in which the first 1,776 people to enter the stadium
will receive their choice of a Rockabilly bating practice baseball, a delicious hot dog, a warm
apple pie or a Serra Chevrolet frisbee. For some folks this event will help continue their Fourth
of July traditions.

“Years ago when I lived in Chattanooga, baseball was a Fourth of July tradition for our family,”
Chris Oaks, a Humboldt resident said. “We’d watch the Chattanooga Lookouts and then when I
lived near Nashville we would watch the Nashville Sounds of the Fourth of July so its just been a Fourth of July tradition.”

Some folks are also just looking for something fun to help them celebrate on Saturday.

“To have something to do on the Fourth of July,” Doralynn Lowe, a Henderson resident said. “I
mean it’s either that or go skinny dipping in the pool.”

You might wonder, ‘Well, how are people hearing about this?’.

“I heard from the radio station (Talk-N West TN), I’ve been a long time listener” Larry Bailey, a
Jackson resident said. “I wanna be a part of the whole event on Saturday night, it sounds like it’s gonna be just a real nice great family event for everybody.”

If you would like to receive tickets for this special Independence Day celebration, you can stop
by Talk-N West Tennessee on 207 W Lafayette St or visit the Jackson Rockabillys website. We
hope to see you there!
