JACKSON, TN – The Jackson State Community College Green Jay Volleyball program will host a summer volleyball camp series concluding with a free kid’s camp.
Starting June 11, the series includes 9 sessions for player groups including 3rd-6th grade, 7th-9th grade, high school and college.
As part of the series, a free kids camp for K-6th graders is scheduled for August 9 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and will include photos and autographs with the team.
All camps will take place at the JSCC gymnasium (The Nest). Schedules and fees are listed below. The free kid’s camp can be registered for by using the online registration form. All other camps can be registered for at jsccgreenjaycamps.com.
The JSCC Green Jay Volleyball program closed out its inaugural season last fall, posting an impressive 21-12 overall record and earning respect across the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA).
Head Coach Alexis Kapales and staff guided the Green Jays through a historic season marked by competitive play, growth, and resilience. Jackson State showcased one of the top defenses in the league and earned recognition from coaches across the conference.

June 15 – Green Jays Serving Camp; 7th-9th grade; 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; 10th-12th grade; 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m.; $30
June 16 – Green Jays Boys Camp; 9 a.m.-12 p.m.; $20
June 17 – College Prep Camp; Session 1: 9 a.m.-11 a.m.; Lunch: 11 a.m.-12 p.m.; Session 2: 12 p.m.-2 p.m.; $50
June 18 – Elite Invite-Only College Prep Camp; 12 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
June 22 – Green Jays Defense/S&R Camp; 7th-9th grade: 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; 10th-12th grade: 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m.; $30
June 23 – Green Jays Hitting Camp; 7th-9th grade: 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.; 10th-12th grade: 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m.; $30

I’d like to sign my kids up for the free volleyball camp, I’m wondering if it can be scheduled at a different time?
I can’t be the only wondering why it’s scheduled for a Sunday morning.
