Madison Academic’s Gabbie Dillon was named JSCC female ‘Athlete of the Week for week 7.  The sophomore setter for Madison posted 10 aces, 2 kills, 42 assists, and 13 digs in Madison’s 2 wins last week.

“We played good as a team that week, we had great passes that allowed me to get good sets to our hitters who made it happen.  Getting this award gives me more confidence to play they way I have been playing and to keep working.”  Sophomore Gabbie Dillon –  Madison Academic High School

“Gabbie has been incredibly conisitent for us this season.  As a sophomore, she has stepped into the role of running an offense with a lot of seasoned seniors.  You can see her leadership in how hard she works and pursues ever ball.  We played some really good volleyball that week and Gabbie is a big reason for that.” Coach Olivia Abernathy – Madison Academic High School
