The annual Denim and Pearls is an event that raises funds critical to the ability of WRAP (Wo/Men’s Resource and Rape Assistance Program) to support survivors of domestic violence and their families.
March 25 is the date of this year’s event.
“This year’s theme is ‘Under the Sea,'” says WRAP Development Coordinator Jenci Spradlin. “There is a gourmet meal, silent auction, and plenty of dancing. We are bringing back a crowd-favorite for entertainment, The Remedies.”
One of the Southeast’s most in-demand cover bands, The Remedies describe themselves as “your party prescription for non-stop, dance-induced excitement.”
The mission of the nonprofit organization is to prevent violence and stop the transmission of violence to women, children, and youth. Each year WRAP helps some 2,000 survivors of domestic violence and sexual violence, both male and female, in the 20-county area that is serves.
WRAP is still seeking table sponsorships starting at $1,500, including admission for eight guests. The event is Saturday, March 25, at 6:00 p.m. at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
There are individual tickets for $187.50. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
