From the Jackson Police Department –

[Jackson, TN] – On August 22, 2025, Jackson police officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 200 block of Roosevelt Parkway at approximately 1:30 pm.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Emergency Medical Services, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

During the preliminary investigation, it was determined that this incident appears to be targeted.
