From the Jackson Police Department –

Jackson, TN. – On August 21, 2023, at approximately 8 p.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Rockwell Road and Reynolds Drive. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female juvenile victim who was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries from the gunfire.

Preliminary investigations determined there was a fight and shooting involving several juveniles at North Park prior to the shooting incident at Rockwell Road and Reynolds Drive.
