BEECH BLUFF Tenn – The  public is invited to two celebrations this weekend.

The first is a ribbon cutting ceremony for Eden, Youth Town’s new program for girls, at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 (59 Luray Road in Beech Bluff).

The second is the annual BBQ and Music Fest, planned for Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pinson campus (3641 Youth Town Road).

Today, Friday, 2 p.m. ribbon cutting with the opening of Eden, services are now offered for 12-to-17-year-old girls struggling with addiction.

Donations from WoodmenLife, Herb Morgan, Walter Bates and Kelly Pappas Crook helped provide the space, staff and resources for Eden of Youth Town to open in Beech Bluff.

Eden Program Director Paige Bledsoe said, “girls will feel physically and emotionally safe to face their struggles”.
