Traffic lights are in the process of being installed on both U.S. Highway 412 and Old Bells Road.
The traffic lights – for motorists attempting to turn onto Highway 412 – will have a sensors, which are devices integrated into traffic signal systems that detect the presence of vehicles – meaning a light on Highway 412 will change to RED when a motorist arrives at the light on Old Bells Road.
Traffic lights on U.S. Highway 412 will remain GREEN until a vehicle arrives at the intersection.
There are inside lane closures – both east and westbound – at the intersection of US Highway 412 (SR20) and Old Bells Road.

Why? Have there been serious accidents at this intersection? I have been using this intersection for 20 years and have never seen an accident nor have I had any issues entering traffic. What in the world are they thinking!
