(February 5, 2015) — Megan Thomas of Humboldt was arrested in Gibson County after she was involved in a hit-and-run incident Tuesday night at the intersection of Old Medina Road and Bakers Chapel Road, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
According to authorities, Thomas was driving a white Nissan Xterra and hit another vehicle at the intersection. The wreck damaged her front tire and caused it to ride on the rim.
Authorities say, Gibson County deputies noticed her car and they saw sparks coming from her tire.
Thomas and a male passenger fled into the woods after the car crashed.
Thomas was arrested Wednesday night and brought to Madison County.
