JACKSON Tenn (May 11, 2015) – In April a Jackson man told police he was receiving several threatening text messages from his child’s mother Mariea Akines.
According to the victim he received 4 text messages threatening him and his family. The victim told police he was afraid for his life and his family.
The victim told police one text indicated Akines was on her way to the victim’s house. When the victim arrived home he found his car had been vandalized doing substantial damage, including two flat tire and broken windshields, according to an affidavit.
Mariea Akines is charged with Domestic Abuse/Harassment, Vandalism over $500, Akines is also charged with Criminal Impersonation for lying to police about her identity.
She is being held on a $15,000 bond.
