Martin Westview defeated Hampton, 55-14, to win the Class 2A state football championship in Chattanooga, Saturday.
With the win, the Chargers are the top-ranked team in the weekly NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM – WNWS.COM Baker’s Dozen area high school football coaches poll.
1) Westview (14-1) – defeated Hampton, 55-14, in the TSSAA Class 2A State Championship game, at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Saturday, Dec. 4.
2) McKenzie (14-1) – lost to South Pittsburg, 24-21, in the TSSAA Class 1A State Championship game at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Friday, Dec. 3.
