Tammy Faulkner, who has been employed at West Tennessee Healthcare for over 23 years, was named West Tennessee Healthcare’s employee of the month for April.
Tammy – patient & family education/TNA coordinator – was presented the award when the Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.
Teresa Freeman, vice president/CNO Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, and Ginger Keymon, director, Nurse Education, presented the award.
According to Amy Garner – West Tennessee Healthcare system vice president chief compliance & communications officer – many of her co-workers describe her as what every employee should strive to be.
- She jumps right in to help when she sees a need.
- She’s a positive influence and stays calm, no matter what is going on.
- She has the best sense of humor and is a joy to work with.
- One employee said that no one deserves to be an employee of the month more than Tammy.
