Ruth Harrison, an employee at West Tennessee Healthcare for over 19 years was named the organization’s employee of the month for November.

Ruth, who works as a coder in Health Information Management, was presented the award by Jeff Blankenship, chief financial officer, West Tennessee Healthcare, and Bart Teague, executive director, revenue cycle, when the Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Friday.

According to her coworkers, Ruth is always willing to help anywhere she can – even if it is not her responsibility.

She is very patient when training employees, seasoned and new. Ruth is known as friendly and professional. West Tennessee Healthcare thanks her for her hard work behind the scenes!
