West Tennessee Healthcare – Resolutions, recognition highlight Board of Trustees meeting

The West Tennessee Healthcare Board of Trustees approved a resolution for the sale of property at 624 Nora Avenue in Newbern to the town of Newbern for $230,000, during its April meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.

The sale was deemed to be in the best interest of West Tennessee Healthcare because of necessary improvements and renovations of the property which has been unoccupied for several years, and because of its condition, WTH feels it is not its best interest to make such expenditures.

A resolution was approved to amend certain provisions of the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital medical staff bylaws, and policy on medical staff affiliates of the medical staff of Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
