Kristen Morris, recognized as an outstanding nurse on A6 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, was named the West Tennessee Healthcare employee of the month for February, during the monthly Board of Trustees meeting, Tuesday.
Vice President Teresa Freeman, VP/CNO, Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, presented Kristen – a 10-year employee – with the award.
Meka Martin-Mercer is the director of A6, and the executive director is Kim Rush, Medical Surgical.
Kristen is viewed by her coworkers as someone they look up to and respect, and she is a role model who is eager to help.
She is often mentioned in patient survey comments regarding her exceptional bedside nursing care and attitude.
She is patient with new employees, loves her patients, and makes sure other needs are met before her own. She is a valuable asset to West Tennessee Healthcare!
