The West Tennessee Healthcare Board of Trustees approved four resolutions during their monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.
Resolutions included –
The donation of real property, located at 344 Hays Street to Friends of Omega,, Inc., a Tennessee nonprofit public benefit corporation.
The anticipated use of the real property would be for providing academic support and mentorship for high risk youth that includes after school tutoring programs; and also to use the real property for community outreach initiatives to serve senior citizens; and to facilitate and coordinate activities that promote good health practices.
The sale of property to the town of Sharon at 5320 Highway 45 South, for a net assignment price of $24,900.
The purchase and installation of Cardiac Echo Ultrasound Machines at a cost of $1,005,250.
The renovation of CPC/2A Equipment Room – four existing HVAC/AHU units that were installed in 1985, which are now obsolete.
Capital Budgeted funds for the renovation project totaled $1,160,000.
