Ayers Children’s Medical Center, the West Tennessee Women’s Center and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt will host Baby & Kids Fest – a free event – from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, August 24 at the Jackson Fairgrounds.
According to a press release, Baby & Kids Fest is a fun, educational event for children of all ages as well as their parents, expectant parents and the community. It is designed for the public to gain knowledge regarding children’s health and safety, information on healthy pregnancies and a list of resources and businesses that are available in our West Tennessee communities.
“We are really excited to bring back the Teddy Bear Clinic again this year,” said Lynda Snider, Nurse Clinician, Community Education of West Tennessee Women’s Center and Ayers Children’s Medical Center. “We will also be celebrating our Neonatal ICU 27th Anniversary & Reunion.”
This year’s event will include both educational and retail exhibitors along with games and activities including a Safety Safari, building fun with Home Depot, Under the Sea Tea Party, prenatal educational sessions and child safety seat checks.
