JACKSON, Tenn — Jimmy Williams was arrested by Jackson Police after he allegedly assaulted a man in a wheel chair.
According to the victim the incident happened in an apartment hall.  Williams allegedly stepped out in front of the victim called him an expletive and slapped him, knocking his glasses and hat off of his head.
The victim claims when he asked Williams why he slapped him, Williams responded with a gay slur and expletive then kicked the wheel chair.
Williams is charged with simple assault.
