Ellen Driver hit two free throws with 17 seconds remaining to lift the University School of Jackson Lady Bruins past Christian Academy of Knoxville 36-35, Friday, and into the Division II-A State Championship game.
USJ (23-5) will face Goodpasture for the state title at the Eblen Center, at 4 p.m., Saturday.
Haylen Ayers led USJ with a game high in points – 12, and rebounds 10.
USJ shot 44 percent for the game and outrebounded CAK (26-8) 27-21.
