JACKSON Tenn — Police are investigating a early morning shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Waffle House.
Officers responded to the shooting about 4:40 a.m. at the Waffle House at 24 Casey Jones Lane, according to a release from the Jackson Police Department.
According to a press release, the car window was struck by a bullet, which shattered the glass, and a 29-year-old Jackson man inside the car was struck by fragments,
The man was treated and released from Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, according to police.
