Jackson, TN – On September 30, at approximately 9:20 p.m., officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at 179 Allen Avenue.

At that time, a JCM Alumni Tailgating event was taking place on the JCM track and field, and witnesses reported hearing approximately six gunshots.

A 17-year-old juvenile and an adult female were both hit by gunfire.

Both victims were airlifted by Air Evac to a hospital in Memphis TN, where they are receiving treatment and in stable condition at this time.
