Jackson, Tennessee – United Way of West Tennessee will offer one virtual agency training session for local agencies in West Tennessee on Thursday, January 11 from 1:00-3:00pm. This session is open to any area nonprofit interested in receiving funding from United Way as a partner agency.
All agencies who request funding must attend the session. Only participating agencies will be eligible to apply for funding during the 2023-24 grant cycle. Applications can be completed by local 501(c)(3) health and human service organizations that serve individuals from United Way’s 15-county service area.
“This agency training session is a great opportunity for area nonprofits to learn how they can partner with United Way to better serve our community,” said Matt Marshall, President/CEO of United Way of West Tennessee. “We will discuss the application process and other relevant information.”
Last year, United Way partnered with 44 agencies to invest over $809,000 in 54 different programs, all focused in the areas of equity, education, health, and financial stability.
“We are grateful to partner with so many organizations in a collaborative effort to improve life for every person in West Tennessee,” stated Marshall.
Please email Matt Marshall at [email protected] by Wednesday, January 10, 2024 to reserve a spot and receive a Zoom link to the virtual session. An agency representative must attend the entire session in order to receive a United Way application.
