Over the month, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States increased to 4.3% from 4.2%.
The unemployment rate decreased in all 95 counties in August.
Sevier County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.7%. Perry County had the highest unemployment rate at 5.4%.
