Highlights from the July 2025 Labor Force Estimates
- The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee increased to 3.6% in July from 3.5% in June.
- During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States increased to 4.2% from 4.1%.
- The unemployment rate increased in 92 counties and was unchanged in the remaining three counties.
- Sevier County had the lowest unemployment rate at 3.3%. Weakley County had the highest unemployment rate at 8.5%.
