Statistics for May 2024
- The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee decreased to 3.0% from April’s 3.1%.
- During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States increased to 4.0% from 3.9%.
- The unemployment rate decreased in 3 counties, increased in 86 counties, and remained the same in 6 counties.
- Sevier County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.1 percent. Bledsoe County had the highest unemployment rate at 4.4 percent.
