JACKSON Tenn (August 24, 2015) – A Jackson woman showed up at the emergency hospital with a gunshot wound. According to police the victim has given investigators little to go on.

At approximately 12:30 Monday afternoon police say they were contacted by hospital officials about a victim who showed up at the ER with a gunshot wound to the leg. Authorities say the injury is not considered life threatening.

Police say the woman has not been cooperative about details or given them a suspect description. According to police the incident occured in the Allenton Heights area but they don’t have a specific location.
