Jackson, Tennessee – Over the span of two days, U.S. Marshals captured an adult, Damon Honen, and two juveniles in three different West Tennessee counties who were wanted for a robbery and shooting that injured two people earlier this month.
On March 1 around 10 p.m., the Jackson Police Department (JPD) responded to reports of gunfire at Post House Jackson Apartments on Rachel Drive.
Officers discovered two people inside a car who had been shot. The victims were ultimately transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The investigation by JPD resulted in arrest warrants and juvenile petitions issued on March 7 for Damon Honen, 18, of Humboldt, TN, and multiple juveniles (age 17) from Jackson and Paris, TN, for the offenses of Especially Aggravated Robbery and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.
JPD requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson to help locate and apprehend the suspects. On March 11, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested the first juvenile at his residence on Lakeshore Drive in Madison County.
A handgun was recovered from his room. On March 12, the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested a second juvenile at his residence on South Porter Street in Paris. A handgun and drugs were recovered from his room.
That same day, Marshals found Honen inside an apartment on Crockett Manor Drive in Trenton, TN, hiding in a closet under a large pile of clothes. All three suspects were transported to a local jail or juvenile detention center.
