Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announced today the arrest of Jordan Williams who is wanted by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office for Rape. On March 11, Williams was located by Marshals at 806 Phillips Street in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Marshals received information that Williams had fled to the Dyersburg area sometime after the alleged crime occurred. Marshals arrested Williams without incident and booked him in at the Dyer County Jail to await transportation to Anderson County.
“The Marshals Service prides itself on delivering results when our partners request assistance,” said U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller. “Fugitives who think they can run and hide in West Tennessee are mistaken.”
The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) has offices in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. The West Tennessee office consists of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Investigators with the Jackson Police Department, Agents with the Tennessee Department of Correction, Investigators with the Memphis Police Department, Shelby County Sheriffs and Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
