From Trinity Christian Academy –
Trinity Christian Academy is pleased to announce Hayden Hogue as our new High School Varsity Baseball Coach. Hayden is a graduate of Halls High School and played collegiate baseball at Bethel University. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Memphis.
Hayden comes to us from the Tipton County School District where he served as a physical education teacher and assistant baseball coach.
Hayden has served as an assistant coach at Cordova High School and Collierville High School. He was also the head baseball coach at Crestview Middle School in Covington, Tennessee. His most recent coaching assignment was at Covington High School as an assistant baseball coach.
While serving as an assistant coach at Covington High School, he played an integral role in helping lead them to multiple district and regional championships and four state tournament appearances.
Hayden also helped lead Covington to the Class 2A State Championship in 2019 and Class 3A State Runner-Up in 2022.
Hayden says, “It’s an honor and a privilege to be named the head coach of TCA baseball. God has opened door after door throughout this entire process, and I truly feel called by Him to serve at TCA.
“I want to personally thank the administration for giving me this opportunity and entrusting me to lead this program.
“I look forward to continuing to build on the success this program has had and to start working with these young men.
“I also want to thank Covington for the last five years. I am so grateful to have gained numerous relationships that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I would not be in the position I am today without the coaches and players that I have had the opportunity to work with. Covington will always hold a special place in my heart.
“Lastly, and most importantly, I want to thank my wife for being my rock and biggest supporter. I could not do what I love without her endless support and sacrifices she makes. We cannot wait to be a part of the TCA family and see how God uses us there. Go Lions!!”
Hayden’s wife Allie is from Hardeman County and played softball at Jackson State Community College. She is a sonographer at Methodist North in Memphis, Tennessee.
They attend Gateway Baptist Church in Atoka, Tennessee. Hayden and Allie enjoy going to the lake, sporting events and playing with their puppy Reese. He also enjoys hunting and watching college football. We are thrilled to welcome the Hogue Family to Trinity Christian Academy.
