Traffic congested as road work continues – North Highland Avenue at Interstate 40

Interstate 40 east and westbound at Exit 82 remains closed and detoured onto the Exit 82 ramps.

Highland Ave. (SR 5) is closed at the interchange to allow for continuous flow of interstate traffic.

This closure is to allow for installation of steel bridge beams.

Monday, October 28 through Wednesday, October 30, EACH DAY, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.: SR 5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities.
