It was a sign of times to come when Gillig Corporation demonstrated a fully electric transit bus at Jackson Transit Authority, 38 Eutah Street, today.

The bus has seating for 36 passengers – capacity – with an expected range in the Jackson area of 160 miles each day.

The bus is not in the JTA fleet.
