JACKSON Tenn (May 27 , 2016) – 101.5 FM the Afternoon Show with Keith, and Victory Honda of Jackson are teaming up to raise money for Veterans Memorial Gardens & Freedom Gazebo.
“I hope that by Memorial Day we will be able to give at least $5,000 to the Veterans Memorial Gardens & Freedom Gazebo fund.” said Keith Sherley, news director, and host of the Afternoon Show.  Listeners have always opened their hearts and wallet’s for the community and I know they won’t let veteran’s down on this opportunity, said Sherley
On the Friday Afternoon Show from Victory Honda 101.5 FM listeners can call and make pledges, or come out to Victory Honda, on the 45 Bypass, with their Veterans Memorial Gazebo.pledge.
The first 100 supporters with a minimum pledge of $20 will receive:

Old Country Store: Breakfast Gift Card
Rock N Dough: Lunch Combo or Grinder Sandwich
Tammy Buchanan, chairwoman for the group said “The gazebo as a way to be able to continue to honor veterans in the Freedom Plaza.”
Tim November, 101.5 FM marketing consultant said, “this is our way to team up with a client and raise money for those who gave all for our freedom”, “we know we will raise at least $2,000 but these are great items and its for a great cause so we hope they will give more.”
In addition to the pledge items, there is another way for giving to this fund.
For every new Honda sold that the customer mentions 101.5 FM or every lead that comes from a 101.5 FM listener who mentions the station, Victory Honda will give $500 to the Veteran’s Memorial Gazebo Fund. Â This is through Memorial Day.
Chase Channell, General Manager of Victory Honda of Jackson said when he heard about this great cause he immediately wanted to know how he could get involved. “we are very community-minded and what better citizen’s to support than the families of those who gave all for country”.
The Afternoon Show is on the air 3:00 – 6:00 pm weedays with this Friday’s show dedicated as a radio-thon fund-raiser for veteran’s memorial pledges.
