It was a complete disaster for Tennessee as they battled the Bills in a primetime game on Monday. For Tennessee, a fence was almost impossible to come by. Ryan Tannehill threw two interceptions and could not get the ball through the air no matter how hard he tried. The ground game didn’t do much at all because the offensive attack is extremely predictable without star AJ brown on the outside. Derrick Henry had 13 carries for only 25 yards. For Buffalo, they played outstanding on both sides of the ball. The dynamic duo of Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen carried Buffalo on their backs. Josh Allen threw for four total touchdowns on 26 of 38 attempts for a massive 317 yard outing. Stefon Diggs was amazing on the outside with a very efficient 148 yards and three touchdowns. He caught the ball 12 times for an average of 12.3 yards per catch. Buffalo was also very dominant on the defensive end. In fact, Buffalo had ten players record two or more tackles in the game.

For Tennessee, I’m starting to get very nervous about this season. I knew they were going to take a big step back from their dominant season last year. I knew the AJ Brown was a massive part of our offense. The thing is; not only was AJ Brown a star with the ball in his hands, he also had a certain gravity around him. What do I mean by this? When I talk about a player having gravity? I mean the defense had to pay attention to him at all times even if he didn’t have the ball. With AJ Brown no longer on the Titans, that effect is gone making their own offensive attack all that more predictable.

Tennessee takes on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3. Both teams are struggling offensively and I give the nod on the fence to the Raiders. We will see how this plays out and what adjustments Tennessee has made.
