Madison County Sheriff John Mehr confirmed that three male juveniles have been apprehended following a break-in at McKenzie’s Market at 2857 Airways Boulevard.
According to a press release, deputies responded to an alarm call at 10:19 p.m., Tuesday, and discovered forced entry had been made on the outer door of the business, but they were unable to get inside the building.
Deputies then drove through the area of McKenzie’s Trailer Park, where they were informed that a white Ford Ranger had been seen in the area.
A short time later they observed a white Ford Ranger traveling east on Highway 70 West.
Upon conducting a traffic stop on Highway 223, three juvenile suspects were transported to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
After questioning the suspects, all were issued the appropriate juvenile citations and transported to Juvenile Detention, and the parents of all three were present and informed.
