Three Arrested On Drug Charges

 
 
Investigators from the Jackson-Madison County Metro Narcotics Unit received information on the whereabouts of Jacob Crossett who was wanted on multiple outstanding arrest warrants. The Investigators encountered Crossett in the vehicle with Chris Rinks and Tracey Chambliss as they stopped at the business located at 1353 South Highland Avenue. The trio quickly went inside the business and headed directly for the bathrooms where they attempted to conceal drug evidence which they had in their possession. 
 
Further investigation revealed Crossett, Rinks and Chambliss to be in possession of multiple bags containing approximately 2.3 grams of Methamphetamine collectively, three hypodermic syringes that were loaded with liquid Methamphetamine, a small amount of Marijuana, 6-zubsolv pills, a digital scale, drug packaging materials. 
 
In addition to his outstanding warrants, Jacob G. Crossett, age 30, of 51 Pine Wood Drive in Jackson was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Evidence. He was arraigned in Madison County General Sessions Court and is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex in lieu of a $10,000 bond. 
 
Christopher N. Rinks, age 41, of 7 Gregg Street in Jackson was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Marijuana and Tampering with Evidence. He was arraigned in Madison County General Sessions Court and is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex in lieu of a $10,000 bond. 
 
Tracey L. Chambliss, age 30, of 739 Watson Road in Jackson was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell or Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Evidence and Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Distribute. She was arraigned in Madison County General Sessions Court and is currently being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
