‘The perfect spot’ – Allen Samuels Holdings constructing new Hyundai dealership on 45 Bypass

It’s out with the old and in with a new state-of-the-art facility at Allen Samuels Hyundai, 1639 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass in Jackson.

“We are super excited to embark on a new adventure here in Jackson,” Bill Denton said, “We are going to completely dismantle this building and rebuild to a new state-of-the-art facility for our Hyundai customers in Jackson and West Tennessee.”

Denton, who serves as president of Allen Samuels Holdings, was in Jackson during a groundbreaking to discuss the construction and future of the new 35,000-square-foot facility.

“It will be very customer friendly,” Denton said, “A streamed-lined sales process from the time the customer picks their vehicle. They (will) go right into finance and right out the backdoor from finance to a delivery area where their vehicle will be cleaned, prepped and ready to go.”

Denton said the new setting will allow for a more efficient sales process to give the customer a better experience.

While construction time is expected to take between seven- and nine months, Denton said it’s still going to be business as usual for the Jackson dealership, which is one of eight owned by the company.

“We’re not going to close, we’re still going to be open,” Denton said, “We’ll be operating out of another building on our property.”

Denton said as soon as construction is completed and the company sets up shop, there are plans to do renovations on a second building on the campus, which specializes in sales of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.

Allen Samuels Holdings has eight automobile dealerships in five states.

Denton said there never a consideration of vacating the property for another location in Jackson.

“This was it, the perfect spot,” Denton said, “Our whole plan from the get go is to fully invest in Jackson. Hoyt Hayes is our construction company – they are local.

“The biggest thing for us was to try stay as local as we could and keep all that money in Jackson and West Tennessee and support the local businesses.”
